WOOD DESTROYING ORGANISMS

If you are in the process of purchasing or selling a home, it is essential that a WDO (Wood Destroying Organisms) inspection is completed as part of the application. At Provision Home Inspections, LLC., we offer WDO inspections through MI, a Florida Licensed Pest Control Operator, and recommend that they be completed as an addition to the Standard Visual Limited Home Inspection.

During this inspection, our inspectors utilize moisture meters, infrared imaging, and probing inspecting for visible and accessible evidence of infestation or damage from any of the following wood-destroying organisms:

The inspection is visual to all property components to which the inspector has access according to industry standards, and includes: Exterior; the visible part of the foundation, the roof, electrical, plumbing, appliances, interior, A/C, and heater.

At the end of the inspection report, we will provide you with a summary of all deficiencies found, showing you where they are located, followed by a brief explanation of what was observed during the inspection.

Within 24 hours of the inspection being completed, we will send you and your real estate agent an electronic report so you can use it in your real estate transaction.

For such a low investment, the information and benefits obtained are very high; in ocassions, you could be saving thousands of dollars.

You should request your inspection as soon as possible so it can be scheduled the day you need it. Remember that there is a limited time window in which the inspection can be done and any repairs should be solicited to the property vendor, in case the real estate transaction includes it.
